“I’m not happy with my line-up” – Thomas Tuchel lament after Arsenal defeat

Chelsea Manager Thomas Tuchel accepts responsibilty for his side 1-0 loss to London rival Arsenal.

Them German manager  told Sky sport he chose the “wrong team” after his side suffered a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday night on their race to top-four finishing.

Thomas Tuchel made seven changes to the line-up that beat Premier League Champion Manchester City last Saturday, but the blue boss inisted before the Arsenal game that he had full trust in his line-up.

Chelsea top-four hope’s now hanging in their hands as they will need to do what need to be done to merit their chance.

Chelsea were put to sword by Arsenal Emile Smith Rowe, after Jorginho poor back-pass error to Kapa put the blues into trouble.

After the game, the Chelsea boss in his Post-match conference told Sky Sports he made a wrong selecetion and admited the blane should be on him for the loss.

“Maybe it was too many changes from last match, and I take full responsibility for that. Maybe it is the last wake-up call for all of us.

“I felt it a little bit coming in training yesterday and I am a bit unlucky that it is proven today on the pitch.

“We had three days, we had a good run and were in a good mood, but the choices were not so good on my side for the line-up so this is on me. We were unlucky but we did everything today to lose.

“I’m not happy with my line-up, I should not have done it like this.”

Tuchel alao added in his post-match press conference: “Maybe I gave some signals to the team today with the changes that Saturday is on my mind.

“Even if that’s one percent or five, percent this is not how we approach things because you get punished. You can’t be naive in the race for the top four. It’s hard to swallow, hard to accept, but there’s no other way.”

Thomas Tuchel Chelsea’s face Leicester in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday and the blue boss will be expected to make his best selection so as to aviod another defeat.
