Third Mainland Bridge To Reopened By February 15 – Fashola

The Minister of Works and Housing, Babtunde Raji Fashola, confirmed the new reopening date of the Lagos State Third Mainland Bridge which will be fully reopened by February 15th according to the Ministers.

The former Governor of Lagos State, today January 14, disclosed the new development during the inspection of construction work on major roads and bridges in Lagos.

Fashola said that, the closure of the lagos third mainland bridge has been a se-back delaying the maintennace of Falomo bridge in Lagos.

It can be recall that the third mainland bridge had been shut down since July 24, 2020, although the Minister eas silient about this.

The Minister Noted that, the repairs are expected to have in completion by the end of January 2021.

However, Fashola and its contractor noted they had to suspend the work during the two weeks Endsars Protest and the completion of the Third mainland bridge had to be extended by another two weeks.
