First City Monumemt Bank, FCMB, has appoint Mrs Yemisi Edun as the new Managing director following the stepping down of Adam Nuru.

It can recall that the former Managing Director of the bank Mr Adam Nuru Voluntarily proceeded on a leave over the alleged infidelity scandal involving him and his former secretary ‘Mrs. Moyo Thomas’ to allow the bank board carry out all neccessary investigations.

First City Monument Bank FCMB, has now annouced the appointment of a new managing director ‘Yemisi Edun’

Yemisi Edun who holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the unibersity of ife, ile-ife. She furtherly obtained her Master’s degree in International Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool, United kingdom.

Yemisi Edun is a fellow memeber of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a CFA® Charter holder.

Yemi Edun is an assocuate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, An Associate member of the institute of Taxation of Nigeria, A Member of Information System Audit and Control USA, and A Certified Information Systems Auditor.

Yemis, started her bankimg career with Akintola Williams Deloitte in 1987, with her full focus on Corporate Finance activities

Yemisi Edun was involved in the audit of Banks and other Financial Institution (BOFIA).

Yemis who joined FCMB way back in the midle of 2000 as Divisional Head of Internal Audit and Control of the bank, she latter take on the role of Chief Financial Officer of FCMB and now she is currently the MD of the Bank
