Arsenal are keen to make a permanent deal for Odegaard from Real Madrid next season.

The 22-years-old Norwegian had only featured in nine games for Real Madrid before moving to Arsenal on loan this season.

Odegaard has impressed in North London since joining the Emirate outfit in January 2021. He had featured in many games for Arsena and display impressively and outstanding performance with his thunderbolt goal in the Gunners 3-1 win over Olympiacos last week and his solow goal in the North London derby against Tottenham 3days go.

Mikel Arteta quickly make Odegaard one of his regular started, the Norway captain has started four out of Arsenal last five league games.

Daily Mail reported that Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta has been very impressed with the performance of the 22-years-old midfielder.

Odegaard has proven himself to Makel Arteta that he would be the good player to keep at the Emirate stadium next season, and now Arsenal are already making plans to negotiate with Real Madrid on a possible deal.

A sources revealed, Arsenal are planning to make a permanent deal, but yet, they would grab any opportunity to have him back again on another 12-month loan deal just as the case of Dani Ceballos.

Odegaard might cost Arsenal beyound expectation and the Gunners might not be able to meet up with his release cluase if they fail to secure a place in next season Europa League, while Real Madrid will not be willing to sell him on a cheap deal.

According to The Mail, It was reported that Real Madrid will be open to negotiation on Odegaard as they plan to raise funs to secure the signature of Paris Saint-Germain’s star Kylian Mbappe.

Odegaard still have 2 years left on his Real Madrid Contract, and the Spanish gaint may not have the opportunity to sell the 22-years-old at his full value again if they fail to sell him off this summer.
