Double Wahala As NUC Say No To ASUU Universities Resumptions





It’s not a news anymore that the long awaited ASUU strike has been marked with full stop and Universities students are now jubilating all over the country expecting their school calender to be out anytime soon.

This is coming up 4-days after the ASUU strike was called-off. NUC has issued a new directives which states “Students of public school won’t be able to resume back to school”

Naijaloaded reported that “Despite the suspension of ASUU Strike, university students won’t resume soon following NUC directive.

Students in Nigerian publuc Universities who have been hoping to resume academic activities after the Yuletide following the suspension of the long awaited strike by the academic union will have to wait longer.

This is coming after the National Universities Commission (NUC) has issued a directive to all universities to suspend academic activities due to the spread of COVID-19.


With the look of things, another lockdown might be the next available option for the Nigeria Government. Currently, Nigeria is experiencing its second wave of COVID-19, with the country experiencing hundreds of new cases daily. Over 5,000 new cases has been recorded in the past 7days making it the highest figure of new cases ever since the first case of COVID-19 was annouced.
