NIMC To Adopt New Registration Procedures For Applicants.

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) on sunday has issued a new instructions to aplicants who are willing to enroll for the National Identification Number (NIN).

Applicants are urge to download the enrolment from, fill and submit it at any NIMC enrolment centres across the country.

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) made this know in a tweet via its Twitter handle on Sunday evening.

It can be recall that Nigerian Commumications Commission (NCC) had issued a statement last week, instructed all telecommunications companies to block all SIM cards not fully registered in the country.


All Network providers has told their customers to register and linked their SIM cards number with NIN or face the risk of getting their numbers blocked.

The Nigerian Governmemt has approved 173 centres and 30 state public institutions on behalf of NIMC to carry out enrolment of all citizens, including legal residents into the National Identity Database (NIDB)
