Mikel Arteta Say No to Barcelona Job – “I’m Happy and Priviledge” at Arsenal

Reports have linked the Arsenal Boss  with the Barcelona job at  Camp Nou, if Joan Laporta win the next presidential elections

The Gunners Boss has played down reports linking him away from Emirate Stadium with Barcelona as he noted that He is privileged and happy at Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta has been linked with a possible move to the Spanish gaint this week with Joan Laporta said to bring the current Arsenal Boss as a possible replacement for Ronald Koeman, only if he won the upcoming Barcelona presidential elections will this be possible.

But the Gunners Manager had come out to played down the suggestions, as he insist his only focus now is to continue the work and project he is doing in North London.

According to Goal, when asked Arteta about his name being linked with a move to Barcelona, He said; “There is always going to be speculation when there are elections in Barcelona, it’s a huge team”

“Obviously i was raised there as a player and there is always going to be links. But i am fully focused in the job that i have to do here, which we have a lot to do and i am really enjoying it.

“Today and Tomorrow i am the manager of Arsenal football club and i am really enjoying it. And i want to do much better than what we have done so far.

“What i can tell you is i feel priviledged to manage this football club and i am extremely happy” Areta Siad.

It can be recall thaf RAC1 reported last early this week that Mikel Arteta was one of the options on the list of Joan Laporta as a possible replacement for the current Barcelona coash Ronald Koeman.

Arteta arrived the Emirate Statdium in December 2019 as a replacement to Unai Emery, and the Arsenal Boss still has two years left on his contract.

Arteta made it known in an exclusive interview with Goal, that there is no discussions yet over a possible extention and his focus remain to finish the season as strong as possible.

He said; “We are in the middle of the season, we have a lot to play for and at the moment it’s not a priority.

“I think that it’s ok. I still have a contract here, i am happy here and i don’t think its is something urgent.”
