Mason Mount has given Kai Havertz all opportunities to make Chelsea Fans Happy and Justify £71m price tag




The London side will be without their fast raising attacker Mason Mount for their champions league tie against Atletico Madrid next month through suspension

There’s huge hope for Kai Havertz as he could be call upon to replace Mason Mount for Chelsea’s second leg against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League


Kai Havertz, is yet to live up to expectation in the blue jersey since his big money move from Bundesliga side in the summer

Chelsea splashed out £70m to secured Havertz signature to bring the German International to Stamford Bridge from German side Bayer Leverkusen as part of a massive £220million spending budget that was supposed to take Frank Lampard’s Chelsea side to the next level and deliver a certain results.

No doubt, it was always going to be a project of patience with Havertz, who has received praises by hid new coash for making such a brave move to the Premier League at such an early age and to a club as Chelsea.

With Mason Mount missing out for Chelsea’s second leg of their Champions league round of 16 tie with Atletico Medrid in March 17 through suspension, it is likely Havertz will be the man to replace him on the night.

So between now and then, the young German needs to start finding his form and hopefully Tuchel gives some extended minutes in thr Premier League against Manchester United, Liverpool, Everton and Leeds as well as a start in the FA Cup quarter final, to get him ready and in good form ahead of Atletico’s visit next month
