Manchester United Destroys Leeds United In Eight Goal Thriller

Manchester United had the best match of the weekend against fierce Leeds in eight goal thriller. The first half was the best of the season as five beautiful goans were scored between the two teams in the first 45 minutes.

United started with fire as they opened the scoresheet in the second minute as Fernandes set up McTominay who struck a superb shot from outside that went straight to the back of the net, putting Manchester United in front.

McTominay completed his brace when Anthony Martial set up a through ball into the box for McTominay to finish and make it 2-0. Leeds United Patrick Bamford tried to put his team back in the game but his goal was ruled out for offside. Bruno Fernandes made it three for the red devils in the twentieth minute after taking advantage of a sloppy defending from Leeds United to fire it home and beyond Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier. Landelof join up with other scorers and put himself on the scoresheet, with the help of Martial’s flicked header from a corner kick.

The Swedish defender fired it home to make it 4-0 for the Reds. Leeds Cooper scored a consolation goal for his club with an header from a corner kick to reduce the damage done in the 41st minute. Manchester De Gea produced a world class save after he pushed Rafinha’s volley away in the early stages of the second half.

Manchester UnitedMcTominay provided an assist for James to give United their fifth goal in the 66th minute while Fernandes scored for his club two minutes later to give the sixth goal. Leeds scored the final goal of the match when Stuart Dallas produced a fine strike from outside the box in the 73rd minute.

Manchester are now in the title race as they are third on the table.
