What You Miss – Leicester city vs Arsenal Match Review: Pepe and Willian impress as Arsenal takes all three points at the King Power




At the first 10 minutes of the match Arsenal’s lack of focus and composure was noticed which made Youri Tielemens slot the ball into the net.

From then on, Gunners took over the game while mancity looked too comfortable as they relaxed. Gunners dominated the right- hand side, which resulted in the first goal.

Willian’s curling free-kick allowed Luiz to run in and head the ball into the back of the net to slot in the ball into the net.

Gunner’s second goal happened on the stroke of halftime by Lacazette who confidently from the penalty spot scored a goal after a handball from Wilfred Ndidi.

Gunner’s weren’t done with the Foxes at the beginning of the second half. Man city had few opportunities towards the end of the match, but the Gunner’s defence saw the game till the end and they took three points home.



Gunner’s obviously still have an issue with conceding early on in games. It occurred in their last league game against Man City where Sterling scored within two minutes.

The incident today came from the defenders, who could have done better when trying to block Tielmans from scoring.

The composure and focus is something that Gunners lack, especially in the first 10-15 minutes of games.

Leicester had only won one out of their last twelve Premier league matches, Gunner’s proved that they really wanted the three points in the match.
