SHOCKING!! Lacazette almost took a defender’s head off after Aubameyang’s goal against Benfica




The gunners are through to the last-16 of the European league but they were diligent in their match against Benfica.

Arsenal knew a win or a goalless draw would push them forward, after a draw 1-1 in the first leg. They saw their chance of progressing when Emerick Aubameyang scored after 21 minutes of the game.

However goals from two of Benfica’s players Goncalves and Rafa meant arsenal we staring at an exit. Arsenal’s player, Tierney equalised with 20 minutes remaining to stoppage time, but they needed a miracle goal to win the tie.

Luckily for Gunners, one of their finest players Aubameyang gave them a miracle goal in the 87th minute.
Bukayo Saka gave in a sweet ball, arsenal’s players went wild. Aubameyang ran towards the corner, with most of the players following him.

Alexandre lacazette didn’t follow the striker, instead he leathered the ball into the goal post and in the process almost wiped out Benfica’s player. What if it touched the Benfica player’s head, there would have been a mass brawl.

Arsenal fans took it as a joke after his doing.
The match ended with Arsenal win 3 against Benfica 2.

Gunner’s chief Mikel Arteta spoke to the press media after the game
“It certainly keeps the season moving in a much better way because this competition will help in the Premier league”
