Havertz opened up his difficult Chelsea Career and to life at Chelsea, after the summer signing starring role in the 2-0 victory over Everton.

Kai Havertz was given his first beginning since January 27 and he didn’t disappoint the club.

He has been battling with illness and injury since his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen yet he did his best at Stamford Bridge against Tottenham where he played full match as the Blues maintained their 11 game unbeaten.

The German international played excellently well against Everton, his surging run into box 18 in the second- half earned a penalty for Chelsea. This result moved the Blues into fourth with just 10 matches left to go this season.

Havertz said ” It’s difficult to say if it is my best performance for Chelsea but the first few months were challenging for me.”
