Just Now: Nigerian Soldiers Rescue 10 Victims From Bandits Captive in Zamfara

Informatiom reach us now that, Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have rescued 10 victims kidnapped by Bandits at Yenyewa Village in Zamfara Stattle, following a tip-off .

Major General John Enenche, who’s the Cordinator Defence Media Operations, disclosed this in his statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

Mar. Gen Enenche disclosed that the troops had on 20th of Decemeber responded to a distress call on bandits activities in the village area and they engage them accordingly.

It can be recall, just last week, the Nigerian Soldiers rescured over 344 abducted schoolboys in Kastina State, with the help of some undisclosed personalities and Nations.

Enenche disclosed that, troops overwhelmed the criminals with high firepower and they were forced to abandon 10 kidnapped victims before fleeing in disarray.

Major General Enenche made it known that, the 10 rescued kidnapped victims have been with their family now,

He also mentioned that troops of Operation Whirl Stroke killed one bandits and arrest two others in an encounter which took place in Benue on Monday.

According to him, he made it know that the bandits were linked to the recent killings of the passed Makurdi lawayer and his wife who was killed recently.

” Troops were mobilized to the location where the military had contact and engaged the criminas in gunfire fight.

“The Troops recovered an Ak-47 rifle with some loaded bullet (a magazine loaded with rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition)”

The troops Coordinator said that troops also raided one bandits hideout at Abako Village near the bandits hideout”

Troops handed over two bandits that were arresfed to tbe appriopriate agency for further action.
