“I hope to play in the Champions League again with Arsenal” – Bernd Leno plays down Summer exist

Arsenal stopper Brand Leno has hints out on his future with the North London side, amid rummour of smmer exist.

The Arsenal no.1 has made it known he’s not ready to leave Arsenal yet, having two years left on his deal at the Emirates Stadium.

Leno made a point of leading the Club back into Champions League competetion “hope to play in the Champions League again with Arsenal”

Rummour going arround recently, claiming the German international is set to depart the Emirate Stadium this summer.

A report by The Athletic claimed the Arsenal goalkeeper is among the five senior Arsenal players who are looking for a possible summer exist, with the likes of Hector Bellerin and Granit Xhaka and few others.

However, the German international insists that is not the case.

Although the Arsenal goalkeeper has hinted that he would like to try playing in another league before hanging up his boots, and this means Leno will not retire his football career with Arsenal

“It is also clear that at some point in my career I want to do something different,” Leno added. “So far I’ve played for two clubs. Maybe I’ll get the urge to play in another league again. Maybe in the south. But there is time, I’m still getting to the top goalkeeping age.
