Lacazette – “I Already Knew Arsenal would come back even before my goal”




Arsenal managed to share points with West Ham United following a winderful comeback that overturn West Ham three goals lead.

Arsenal Striker Alexandre Lacazette has revealed he knew before his goal that his team could comeback with three goals down in the London derby which ended 3 – 3 within Arsenal and West Ham United.

The end results gives Mikel Arteta Arsenal’s a ray of hope as they hunt for a European spot, and the French striker has come out to revealed that he never doubt his team-mate ability.

Alexandre Lacazette speaking with Sky Sport after the game said; “We had the pressure, we knew it was a big game,” the French international said, after helping the Gunners to a crucial point late on.

“We have to work a lot to be ready for the end of the season. It is really complicated, this kind of game, we need to work a lot.

“We knew even after the bad first half we could come back and score more.”

Arsenal has now gone four games unbeaten in the league but their hope for European competition lies in Europa Trophy now.

Arsenal have nine games to go on their league fixtures and nine points of the top-four spot, Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham all seating abobe Arsenal on the Premier League table.

With the look of things, the highest spot expected of the Gunners is the seventh position and this is why Arsenal need to rely more on UEFA Europa Trophy to claim a spot in next season Continental competitions.
