The Blues welcome Mikel Arteta’s side to Stamford Bridge tomorrow knowing a victory would put them on the brink of qualifying for next season’s Champions League

Chelsea can take a big step towards securing their place in the Premier League top four tomorrow evening when they take on Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

With just three league matches left to play this season, Thomas Tuchel’s side currently sit third in the top-flight table and are six points ahead of fifth-placed West Ham United and seven ahead of Liverpool in sixth, although the Reds do have a game in hand.

The Blues clinched a hugely important victory over Premier League champions-elect Manchester City at the weekend despite resting Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount.

That trio are likely to be in contention to return tomorrow while Tuchel also deliver updates on the fitness of Andreas Christensen, who limped off with a hamstring injury at the Etihad on Saturday, and Mateo Kovacic, who has missed almost a month of football with a hamstring problem of his own.

Thomas Tuchel while speaking about Frank Lampard reveals his respect and love for the Chelsea Legend.

The German Manager said; “Frank resembles everything you think about Chelsea.

“You think about Frank Lampard, the way he is, how he played football. This shows his character and the message he sent was a pleasure to receive.

“We had a message a couple of days after we arrived but nothing more.

“Frank had an amazing record in the group stage of the Champions League. Won all the FA Cup games. He’s laid the foundation to get us to finals and we don’t feel ashamed or have any fear to speak it out loud. It felt like that on the first day.
