leave Arsenal this summer

Veteran Brazillian defender, David Luiz is keen to leave Arsenal this summer, as his agents are looking for potential moves to other clubs because his future is uncertain at Arsenal.

The Brazilian centre-back will see his current deal with the Gunners expire this summer, it hasn’t been speculated that the defender might be given another deal.

David has become a key figure on and off the pitch in the British capital this season, but with William Saliba and Konstantinos Mavropanos due to return from loan stints this summer, manager Mikel Arteta may have to cut down his defensive ranks.

According to a report by CBS Sports, Luiz’s agents are already planning for his potential exit, and Serie A side Lazio are being linked with a move.

The report says that a spell in the MLS has also been mooted, but David’s extortionate salary of £100,000 per week could prove problematic in that scenario.
David Luiz has made 29 appearances across all competitions this season, netting one goal in the Premier League and another in the UEFA Europa League.

Elsewhere, Arsenal have reportedly registered an interest in signing Derby County talent Lee Buchanan, as every team is trying to test new players and improve their squad this coming transfer window.

The 20-year-old star has established himself as a key player for Wayne Rooney’s side this season, contributing three assists from 34 Championship matches.
