Transfer Update!! Chelsea on front to sign West Ham Key player

Chelsea FC are looking to up their squad in the January transfer windows, as they have made plans to sign some key players from different leagues.

Declan Rice who has been performimg for West Ham was linked to Chelsea but the deal couldn’t get through before the deadline.

In January 2021, the club replaced former coach Frank Lampard with Thomas Tuchel as their manager, but Rice has continued to be linked with them.

According to The Star, the west London giants don’t face any competition for Rice with Manchester City reluctant to enter a bidding battle.

Manchester United also have their eyes on the player, but it seems Chelsea would break the bank for him.

Rice is reportedly valued in the region of £90 million, and the Hammers are unlikely to negotiate on the fee this summer.

The England international has three years remaining on his Hammers contract with the option for another 12 months.
