UPDATE: Chelsea Boss Tuchel provide assessment on Werner and Havertz




Thomas Tuchel has been lucky to remain unbeaten in his first seven Chelsea matches in charge so far.

Chelsea spend big in the summer transfer market. But unfortunatly for Chelsea things has not gone well with the London Club, which many people attributed to Timo Werner and Kai Havertz struggling to get on.


Werner and Havertz were the biggest price signing in the summer from Bundesliga. Despite both German showing glimpses of their capabilities in patches, thier struggle has been expose for everyome in world football to see.

With Thomas Tuchel taking over from frank Lampard, things are started changing for better under the new Chelsea boss, having able to achieve seven unbeaten in their last seven matches under him. Tuchel admits the expectations are huge from the Garman duo.

Tuchel commends the decision of both the players to have taken such abig move out of their comfort zone.

Tuchel told BT Sport; “Timo was the top guy in Leverkusen, to jump abroad to go to the most demandimh league in the world, to go to a club like Chelsea where results were demanded, expect titles if possibles. It id a very huge step out of their comfort zone”

“Both of them have a lot of potential, at the same time the club demands a lot from them and i can understand. We spent a lot of money, they spent a lot of money, and it is time to step up and fight for thier place. They fit into plans of any manager because they both have strong potential, strong talent and it is obvious,” the Chelsea boss said.
