Leo Irabor Is Igbo – Biafra Group react to Nwodo’s Claim on the New Service Chiefs Appointment

Biafra Nations League (BNL) has come out to counter the claim of former President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, John Nnia Nwodo to correct his statements on the new service chief, BNL stated that this could annoy all Igno speaking people from Delta state.Biafra Nations League

The former president, Nwodo has earlier claimed that the recent appointment of service chiefs doesn’t favour the people of Igbo as he thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for neglecting Igbo’s in his new appointment.

It can be recall that, President Muhammadu Buhari sacked the service chiefs on Tuesday 26th of January, 2021, after the president had gone through months of public pressure.

Below are is the list of all the security heads which were appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Naval Staff and Air-Vice Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao, Chief of Air Staff, Chief of Amry Staff; Rear Admiral AZ Gambo, Major-General Ibrahim Attahiru.

Biafra Nations League had reportedly faulted former President Nwodo, insiting that Leo Irabor who’s the new Chief of Defence Staff is an Igbo man from Delta State, the BNL in their statement, adding that he would have denied being an Igbo man, just like Governor Wike of River State did.

In a Statement published on Naijaloaded, which claimed that the National Leader of BNL, Princewill Chimezie Richard noted that Nwodo calims would have been more meaningful if he had said the President failed to consider the South East in his appointment.

However, the Biafra Nations League Leader has disclosed that Presidential appointments won’t give solutions to the problem of Igbo people, he made it clear as he maintained that joining hands in the pursuit for Biafra is the only solution the Igbo people ever needed.
