Arsenal Injury Update: Mikel Arteta confirms injury in Leicester city Win




Mikel Arteta gave an update on Smith Rowe’s injury after he was withdrawn from Arsenal defeat over Leicester city on Sunday afternoon.

Smith Rowe was reckless in the first half of Arsenal against Leicester city at the King Power stadium, he was then replaced by Real Madrid loaned Martin Odegaard.

Mikel Arteta spoke about Rowe’s condition after the match.
He said “It was a muscular injury, he wasn’t feeling too well so we decided to replace him.”

“Smith Rowe will have to be assessed by Gunner’s medicals before an official time can be given on his recovery, but he might not be available for the club’s next match at Burnley on Saturday”.


If he eventually misses that game, we will hope that the player who has scored five goals in 22 games this season can return for Europa League round-of-16 first leg with Olympiacos on March 11.

After Gunner’s win against Leicester city, Arsenal head coach said ” I’m really proud of the team, we look confident, composed, the positiveness and energy around the team was really great”.
